This delicious Cheese is handmade in the creamery at Sharpham Estate in Totnes, Devon, using raw, unpasteurised Jersey Milk. The cheesemakers follow a traditional recipe that’s been used for generations and have remained consistent since 1980. They make the Cheese using traditional methods, including salt and vegetarian rennet, instead of pasteurisation.
The Cheese is left to ripen naturally, with no artificial colours or preservatives added. It has a unique texture and flavour, making it perfect to snack on with crackers or as part of a salad. It’s also great to cook with recipes such as sauces and casseroles. This Cheese is delicate, creamy and buttery with a refreshingly light flavour. The delicate rind gives some bite to the Cheese, which melts in the mouth.
